INTEGRATED WEEE MANAGEMENT WITH GTREES
G-TREES is a non-profit organization that promotes a responsible, transparent, and sustainable approach to managing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Ecuador.
We operate as a Collective System under the regulatory framework of Ministerial Agreement 067, working together with all stakeholders across the value chain.
Our goal is to turn E-Waste management into an opportunity for the environmental, economic, and social development of our country.
OBJECTIVE
To develop, implement, and operate the Collective Model approved by the Ministry of Environment and Energy for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) nationwide, under a transparent management system that ensures compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) according to current regulations.
MISSION
To drive sustainability and regulatory compliance in Ecuador through the responsible and collective management of waste electrical and electronic equipment, promoting inclusive, transparent processes with a circular economy approach.
VISION
To be the leading collective system nationwide in comprehensive WEEE management, recognized for its commitment to the environment, citizen participation, technological innovation, and the development of a circular and equitable model.
